Our garden is in full bloom right now..a wild bloom unlike the early start to the past spring. Here is a bench in the corner of the garden- it's a great place to sit and watch bees, butterflies and birds.
So, you live in SUBURBIA and you feel like you'll never get that "country feel" to your garden? We live in suburbia too, and one solution to a chain link fence is a great plant called a Silver Lace Vine, or Polygonum (Fallopia) aubertii
- This is its second year and now I have to walk around it to speak with my neighbor! You'll notice a mirror- we have one on each side so both yards get a great view and a secret garden mirror element! Find two mirrors the same size, and wire them to each side of the fence, back to back. We found these at TJ Max for $12 each!

We had the first snow here in New Jersey today- the garden always looks different this time of year- you can get a feeling for the layout and placement of plants but the bursts of color are gone until spring.
